Moving Forward in the Home Construction & Remodel Industry

Before the recent Covid-19 outbreak, the construction industry was overflowing with business. There was a bounty of families wanting to build or remodel homes.

Now, we’re all sitting at home. On the surface, it looks like the desire for all of this home improvement we saw just weeks ago has vanished. And why not? We have no idea how long this difficult situation will last. There is so much uncertainty. Given my experience in the healthcare world, we completely recognize the seriousness and implications of it.

However, the truth is that our needs haven’t gone away. We simply haven’t had the time to focus on them with all the uncertainty around us. That bathroom tile is still broken; your laundry room still doesn’t work the way you wanted it to. Unfortunately, if you’re anything like us, sitting at home for the next two weeks staring at these imperfections is going to drive you slowly crazy.

It’s okay to shift your focus. Concentrating on every article and tweet about the coronavirus is only going to increase your concern and dampen your spirits.

As we move to FaceTime and Zoom, we can protect your health and ours, while still providing the help you need.

It’s our belief that we need to instill some sort of normalcy during this time to keep our sanity. After all, we still have our innate need to be social and a desire to love where we live!

Fort Worth has deemed us an essential business. This means that working on your home is still seen, even by the local government, as a necessity. We take this responsibility very seriously and have decided to remain open in order to serve you. Of course, respecting social distancing, we have made some changes.

The world has become an easier place to navigate thanks to technology. As such, we will begin using FaceTime and Zoom to do virtual walkthroughs and consultations with you. Missing out on the face to face meetings is difficult for us, but we feel like this is the best way to ensure your (and our) health. As we remain open, please use us as you try to find your new normal. Use us to vent, to plan, to consider your options. We’d love to hear the good, the bad and the ugly and assist you when we get to the other side of this pandemic.

Let us know your thoughts and comments below, we would love to hear from you.
