At Fine Point Homes, we love seeing our Fort Worth community thrive, especially right here on Vickery Boulevard. We are thrilled to give a huge neighborhood welcome to our brand-new neighbor down the road: Swedish Candy Culture!
If you haven't dropped by yet, you've likely seen them all over your social media feeds. In just their first two weeks in business, Swedish Candy Culture has achieved viral success, and it’s no surprise why. From ultra-chewy lördagsgodis(Saturday sweets) favorites to fluffy marshmallow treats and tangy sour bites, locals are head over heels for their incredible candy selection.
Meet the Family Behind the Sweets
What makes this store extra special is the family story behind it. Swedish Candy Culture was founded by husband-and-wife duo Lukas and Crimson Nathanson, who are raising their four children right here in Fort Worth. Crimson is a Fort Worth native, and Lukas grew up in Sweden before working as a music producer.
Whenever the family visited Sweden, friends and neighbors would beg them to bring back real Swedish candy. Crimson started handing out the treats in goodie bags for her daughters' classmates, and after one trip home required two dedicated suitcases full of candy, the Nathansons realized Fort Worth was hungry for the real deal. They decided to turn their family tradition into a local business.
Why Everyone on Vickery is Talking About It
It’s not just about satisfying your sweet tooth, as stepping into Swedish Candy Culture is a whole experience:
- Vibrant Aesthetic & Atmosphere: Designed around lagom (the Swedish principle of "just the right amount"), the shop environment is bright, modern, and undeniably fun.
- The Fan-Favorite Custom Containers: Their signature branded candy containers were such a hit that the store completely sold out after week one!
- A Dedicated Local Community: The buzz is real. When the shop briefly ran out of their iconic containers while waiting on a fresh shipment, loyal fans on social media didn't hesitate. They immediately flooded the comment section suggesting a BYOC (Bring Your Own Container) movement just so they wouldn't miss out on their weekly candy fix.
